Theo Thijssen Museum, Amsterdam A small and nicely arranged museum about a popular Dutch writer and educator Theo Thijssen (1879-1943) and Amsterdam of his times. The museum revokes his popular in the Netherlands books and the atmosphere of the city a century ago. The Museum feels like organized at home, as it is arranged in two rooms of the house, which is a modern reconstruction of the one, in which Theo Thijssen has been born. The original house has literally fallen apart fifteen years ago. English speaking staff will provide you with explanations as the exhibit is in Dutch.
