Kronborg Castle, Copenhagen Kronborg Castle is one of northern Europe’s most important Renaissance castles. Kronborg Castle is located less than 1 hours drive from Copenhagen International Airport in Elsinore, at the seaward approach to The Sound Oresund. In 1599 this room belonged to Axel ‘Golden Star’ who was head of Government and tutor for the boy who was later to become King Christian the 4th. The Apothecary (60 people) was originally used for storage of herbs and spices. The lounge (40 people) is a recreation/break room with work space for the conference hosts and seating for approximately 20 people.
