Granada has, along its historical streets and towns, a great variety of shops. In some of them, the time it seems to have stopped and conserve the centennial trades of the clay and the ceramics, of the wood and the leather, the construction of guitars, the textile or the forge and the boiler making.

The centres of the towns and villages of the province, where the majority of stores are concentrated, it is also a good place to make all type of shoppings. Besides, the capital of Granada has the comfort provided by the services of several shopping centres and commercial parks.

The historical centre of Granada concentrates the biggest amount of shops of the city, from small local stores to the main national and international companies. They are located around the Great Via de Colon, Reyes Catolicos streets, which have some of the oldest shops of the city, and Mesones street, chosen by the great fashion and complements companies. Very popular by visitors and consumers are also the Alhóndiga, San Antón, Angel Ganivet, Recogidas, Puentezuelas and Zacatín streets. The Alcaicería
Nailed between the Cathedral and the Reyes Catolicos street it is a peculiar commercial area of the capital that remind us a small Arab market and whose stores are ideal for the purchase of memories. Centuries ago it was the market of the Nasrid silk that extended from Plaza Nueva to Bib-Rambla. Its original image would survive until the night of the 19th of July of 1843, when a fire in a store of the Mesones street reduced it to ashes. It was rebuilt with a similar structure, in neo-Moorish style, and at the present time it houses mainly the sale of traditional and artisan products.

The most representative of the capital are the Neptune Sopping Centre, that has a hundred stores, and the Arabial Shopping Centre, in which the greater Spanish company is located. In the Granada province, other remarkable shopping areas are the Kinépolis Commercial Park, in Pulianas, only 20 minutes in car from the centre of Granada, and the Albán Commercial Park, in Armilla, less than 10 minutes away.
